This unique sporting event will take place in Bydgoszcz on 2 May! For this occasion, there’s going to be a tape joining the two banks of the River Brda that will enable the contestants to race for the title of World’s Champion.

The venue is not accidental as the statue of “Man Crossing the River” was unveiled on 4 May, 2004, which was exactly the day of Poland’s …with the EU. This year we’re going to celebrate the tenth anniversary of that memorable event.

The programme:
1 May – Trickline – tape acrobatics; (the beach on Wyspa Młyńska)
2 May – River Crossing World Championship – The River Brda, Bydgoszcz, Mostowa St.
Qualifiers – 10:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.
Finals – 4 p.m.
The contestants are going to come over to our city from all over the country and abroad. The winner is the person who crosses the distance of 30 metres the fastest. The prizeis 500 euro!
