Mockup of Bydgoszcz castle

The replica of the Bydgoszcz castle is located at the main entrance to BREBank from ul. Grodzka . It is in this place where a small replica stands today, a stately Bydgoszcz castle surrounded by a moat.

The defensive and administrative building came from the times of Casimir the Great, and existed in the years 1346-1656 (ruins until 1895).

The relics of the castle are single exhibits, preserved in the collection of the District Museum. Leon Wyczółkowski in Bydgoszcz. These include: Gothic bricks, cannonballs, a brick trowel, gothic stove tiles and late medieval vessels, acquired in the nineteenth century by amateur historians and in the 1990s during the archaeological work of the Research Team of the History of Bydgoszcz.
