The City Lock is the second lock on the international Vistula-Oder waterway no 70. It is located in Marcinkowskiego Street in the vicinity of the Solidarity Bridges. The structure, still present to this day, was built in the years 1908-1912, and it was delivered in 1915 together with a new part of the Bydgoszcz Canal adapted for transportation of 400-ton barges.
