Międzywodzie- the between water area

This is the channel on Mill Island in Bydgoszcz. Water in the Międzywodzie canal flows from the Młynówka River to the Brda River due to a height difference of up to 3 m. In the lower part it flows down by gravity, while in the upper part it is pumped. The channel is about 50 cm deep. Its bottom is lined with granite slabs. Around the canal, wooden quays and bridges were built, and existing buildings were renovated, which are currently intended for museum purposes.
