Impressive, neo-classicistvilla (today it houses a branch of the Revenue Service in Bydgoszcz) dating from 1855-1857, built by master carpenter Heinrich Mautz as his residence; he owned a localsawmill for several decades. From 1887, the villa was the property of the State Treasury of Prussia, and later - the State Treasury of Poland, serving as an official apartment ofthe division commander. Between the end of the 1920’s and the beginning of the 1930’s,division general Wiktor Thommée lived here.
