Jan Kaja and Jacek Soliński Gallery

Jan Kaja and Jacek Soliński Gallery - founded in 1979. During the 1980s, it was one of only several private galleries operating in Poland. It hosted nearly 500 exhibitions, projects, shows, installations, theatre productions, and meetings. The Gallery's creators: painter Jan Kaja and graphic artist Jacek Soliński (both 1957) described their undertaking as non-institutional, independent, open, still searching and evolving. The nature of the Gallery's activities is in the formula of interpenetrating fields: art, photography, conceptualism, poetry, literature, theatre, music and philosophy.
