Children Playing with Goose Fountain
Description
'Children playing with a goose' fountain is a small stone well on the Old Market made by Karol Kowalczewski. It was founded by the noble pharmacists family – Kupffender. The fountain was unveiled in 1909 when the “Pharmacy Under the Eagle” celebrated its 100th anniversary. The jet, damaged during World War II in 1940 was rebuilt only 8 years later by Franciszek Górski.
