Awaking of Elves

In 2006 commissioned by the Green Department of the Bydgoszcz City Hall, the first sculpture in the trunk of a dead tree was carried out, titled "Woman in pigeons" by Zbyszko Piwoński. The work was carried out in the trunk of dying Swedish rowan at Gdańska 30 Street (at the intersection with Krasińskiego Street). The sculpture was created between 10 and 20 July 2006. Residents, city guests and pedestrians could admire their work progress from day to day and actively participate in the creation process.
