In front of the main enterance to the building is a model of old Bydgoszcz. Looking at it, we can see several non-existent buildings, including the City Hall and Jesuit Church in the Old Market Square, the little Romanesque Church of St. Giles, city gateways, and Bydgoszcz castle, which was destroyed during the Swedish Deluge.
