Historical Pump Room- Waterworks Museum
Description
The Waterworks in Gdańsk Forest is a beautiful example of the preserved industrial heritage of Bydgoszcz. The buildings were designed in 1899 by the Berlin architect Franz Marschall. Visitors to this exceptional museum can take a closer look at historic fire hydrants, drinking fountains, pumps and a replica of a medieval wooden pumping device, which was used in the 16th century to feed water from the River Brda into the pipe system. The former Pump Room features beautiful stained glass windows.
It is also a unique venue for an event up to 300 pax with a floor area of 350 sqm.
