Dom Kultury Modraczek

The "Modraczek" Community Centre at 15 Ogrody Street was established in 1978. It is opened by the "Budowlani" Housing Cooperative in the newly established Upland housing estate. The facility already has a large area of operation at that time.
The cultural and educational facility, which is "Modraczek", operates within the organizational system of the "Budowlani" Housing Cooperative. Its goals and principles of operation are regulated by the Statute of the Cooperative and the Organizational Regulations. Our House of Culture is the only facility of this type in the housing estate with over 45 thousand inhabitants. In addition, the residents can use the library and take part in actions and festivals initiated by the Municipal Council of the Estate. As part of its base, the Culture House, together with cooperating institutions, organizes various forms of social and cultural activities to meet the expectations of the local community.
