  • Speedway World Team Cup in Bydgoszcz!

    fot. R.SawickiWe’d like to remind everyone that on August 2 our speedway team will race to defend the Team World Cup they won last year in Prague. The meetings have been organised by the Federation of International Motorcycling since 2001 as a continuation of the World Team Championship.

  • Maxfly

    Tunel Aerodynamiczny Maxfly

     

    The aerodynamic MaxFly tunnel is a recreation and education-oriented development.  This incredible  device is for people who have already mastered falling in the air, as well as for those who are not very experienced in parachuting and so far have done it just a few times.

  • Flying CLub

    The Bydgoszcz Aeroklub (eng. flying club) has been in existence since 1946. Its main goal is to promote and develop the Polish aviation as well as organise various kinds of flights over the city and parachute jumps.

  • Kart Circuit

    The Racing Kamat kart circuit is one of the longest indoors race tracks in the region. It measures 500 metres, which is indeed challenging to all go-karting enthusiasts. Racing Kamat has its own time measuring system designed by a Dutch company AMB.

  • The brewer’s secret – an incredible location-based game

    Location-based game is the best way to integrate a group of people working togeter, motivate them to accomplish a given task, and stimulate their creativity (in an alcohol-free way – contrary to the game’s title).

  • Łuczniczka Nova

    A beautiful great-granddaughter of "The Archer Lady " – Łuczniczka Nova was  unveiled on the city’s 667th anniversary. The sculptor Maciej Jagodziński-Jagenmeer is a greatly talented artist from Toruń. Inspired by Lepcki’s work, he created a piece of art both dynamic and sensual.

  • Kupała’s Night in Bydgoszcz!

    Kupała’s night is a Slavic observance related to the summer solstice, which this year will occur on June, 24. It is also known as the Midsummer Eve, kupalnocka, St. John’s Eve, Green Night, and sobótka (dominutive of the Polish word ‘sobota’ which means Saturday).

  • The Old Tram

    Summer tourism information centre - is located in a vintage tram on Długa 43 St. There you will have a chance to get all kinds of information on tourism-oriented places and events taking place in our city. That’s also a place where you can buy Bydgoszcz-related souvenirs.

    On September 13, District Museum will be open to visit as part of the European Heritage Days.  On that day exclusively the opening hours of the museum will be from 17.00 to 0.00. and we want to invite everyone keen on history to read the programme for that special night.

  • Sunflower’s voyage during the long weekend

    We’re just waiting for our beautiful water trams to go back to their routes on the Brda. The Sunflowers (as they’re called  because of the sun being their energy source) will stop at the recently modernized stops equipped with electronic timetables.

  • ”Go Bydgoszcz!”

    The race ”Bydgoszcz na Start” (eng. ”Go Bydgoszcz”) starts on Sunday, 27 April. Around 500 out of 1300 people who’ve signed up will be visiting Bydgoszcz to take part in the event. The 10 km long distance seems to attract hundreds of those hungry for some healthy competition and an adrenaline shot.

  • 1st River Crossing World Championship

    This unique sporting event will take place in Bydgoszcz on 2 May! For this occasion, there’s going to be a tape joining the two banks of the River Brda that will enable the contestants to race for the title of World’s Champion.

  • Golf Academy

    When it opened its doors for the first time in 2005, the Golf Academy featured a driving range and an 18-hole mini-golf course. In 2006, a professional golf course was added, covering an area of 6 hectares and including 9 holes, vast fairways covered with professional standard grass and green areas covered with synthetic grass.

  • Chamber Music Festival

    Concerts are organized in a unique historic waterworks pump hall near Gdańsk Forest. The special, a bit industrial atmosphere of this place as well as its fantastic acoustics have been repeatedly praised by music lovers and performing artists.

    But it is the music that is the most important during the festival weekends…

    The Festival is organised by Muzyka u Źródel Foundation. The hosts of all concerts, Barock Quartet invite distinguished chamber musicians and talented young musicians to joint performances. The organizer’s objective is to popularize chamber music and present its attractive, polychromic face. Organisers also pay special attention to providing the best environment for the reception of music.
    The unquestionable asset of the festival is the venue – historic Waterworks Pump Hall owned by Bydgoszcz Waterworks, the Festival’s patron.
    The unquestionable asset of the event is its programme – world’s greatest chamber music classics and contemporary pieces performed by internationally appearing musicians.

  • Zawisza Conference Center

    Zawisza Hotel is a perfect place for people visiting Bydgoszcz and  Kuiavian and Pomeranian region on business  and as tourists. The hotel is situated off the city noise but only 3 km from the city centre, near the main road to Gdansk, WZ road linking eastern and western parts of Bydgoszcz and Bydgoszcz Lesna railway station.

  • Alternative Route

    Every year, the number of original murals in Bydgoszcz grows. You can walk around the city by following their path. Paintings usually decorate the gable walls of buildings, but also… trees! There are paintings that honor historical figures associated with the city, like Marian Rejewski and Józef Święcicki, as well as fairy tale, abstract, eco-friendly and numerous others, in any possible style. Many of the works can be found in the historic centre of Bydgoszcz, but there are also a lot of them in other parts of the city.
