On July 17, an avant-garde music-theatre project “Chopin’s Magic Piano” which combines classical music, jazz, hip-hop and visual arts will be organized in Opera Nova opera house in Bydgoszcz. Free tickets will be available through the project’s media partners.
“Chopin’s Magic Piano” project is a musical story of a talented, young artist who sells his dreams for success promises, and is ready to “produce” Chopin even in the most absurd setting of cheap techno music. After many disappointments he talks to his Master – Chopin himself, and realizes what he lost. He returns to sources and classical music of Chopin, and finds inner peace. The event is probably the most avant-garde and innovative project of the Chopin Year 2010.
