In the city there are various places where you can buy souvenirs from Bydgoszcz. The best selection of books, albums, maps, calendars, postcards, mugs, pens, magnets and other gadgets can be found in the Bydgoszcz Information Centre operating in the historic granaries at 7 Grodzka Street.

You might also pop into the seasonal tourist information point in Długa Street, situated in the historic tram. Apart from having a closer look at the vehicle that up to 1960 used to carry inhabitants of Bydgoszcz, and obtaining valuable information on the sights, you will find here interesting souvenirs from Bydgoszcz. Unique publications can be purchased in the shop run by the Society of Friends of the City of Bydgoszcz at 15 Długa Street.

Works of artists from Bydgoszcz: jewelry, ceramics and sculptures, prints and paintings can be purchased at numerous galleries in the city centre. Galleries offer a complete tableware sets, as well as individual dishes, painted with motifs characteristic for the region, as well as aprons and tablecloths  decorated with beautiful, mostly white, Kuyavian embroidery and wooden caskets, figurines and sculptures – everyone will find something for themselves (See: useful addresses – Art galleries).

Additionally, traditional regional delicacies: jam, honey, coffee, cereal, bread, sourdough and goose fat can be purchased in the "Kuyavian Larder" in the Old Market. In the shop you can taste various products and what is important is that they all come from organic farms.

Among very special gifts from Bydgoszcz there are chocolate pralines decorated with the coat of arms of the city or the image of the "Archeress". These tasty sweets are available in confectioneries of Adam Sowa at Mostowa and Gdańska Streets.
